How do I book?

Why should I hire live musicians?

Live, string musicians add a touch of class and elegance to any event. Live music will invoke the emotions of your guests in a way that recorded music cannot.

What combination of instruments should I choose for my event?

With our wide range of options, choosing the exact instruments you want can feel a little overwhelming. Rest assured that when you contact us we will guide you in selecting the instrumentation that best fits your event. 
Aspects to consider:
1. Your venue. Larger venues call for more musicians to fill the space with sound.
2. Your music selection and personal taste. If you are interested in a playlist of classical music, a string quartet will be your best option. If you prefer pop music then a trio with violin, cello, and guitar may be the best fit.

Can I choose the playlist for my event?

Absolutely! We will walk you through the process of choosing music and will make sure that you are fully satisfied with your playlist.

Am I required to choose all the songs for my event?

Not at all. You can give us basic guidelines for the time length and general style of music and we will create the perfect playlist for you. 

Can I request a song that is not on your song list?

Yes. Just ask and we will arrange the song(s) for you. There is a limit to two new arrangements for free per event. Additional music can be arranged at an extra charge.

When do I need to send you my song choices?

We aim to have our playlist completed one month before your event, but you can start working on your playlist as soon as you have completed your booking.

Will you perform outside, and do you have any requirements?

If requested we would be delighted to perform outside. Ohio weather has issues year-round so there are a few requirements for outdoor performances. As a professional ensemble, we perform with expensive instruments which must be protected from sun and rain, so an outside covering is required and is the responsibility of the client. An awning, large umbrella, canopy, or the inside of a doorway are all acceptable. 

How far in advance should I book?

We suggest booking 6-9 months before your event.

Will you attend my wedding rehearsal?

Our rehearsal attendance is treated as an additional booking. We typically do not attend wedding rehearsals and do not find it necessary to do so. We always arrive at least 30 minutes prior to any event and in the case of a wedding we speak with the coordinator and officiant about music cues and timing.

What do you wear?

Our usual attire is all black.

Are there any additional fees I should know about?

Locations beyond the Canton/Akron area may incur travel fees depending on the travel distance and time. Please contact us for specific information about mileage charges. 
Additional fees may be incurred for customized song arrangements.
Holiday events may incur an additional fee per musician on major holidays.
Any changes made to a contract for time, day, or location will incur a $50 fee.
